Plain Language Association International (PLAIN) is the leading international membership organization for plain language.
Our vision:
A world where every message is clear and accessible
At PLAIN we believe a world with plain communication is a better world, because clear communication promotes equal opportunities and enables everyone to participate fully and meaningfully in society.
A communication is in plain language if its wording, structure, and design are so clear that the intended readers can easily find what they need, understand what they find, and use that information.
