Plain is coming to Sweden in 2011!

Sweden has long been a pioneer when it comes to plain language, and it is finally time for Sweden to play the leading part in an international plain language conference. The 8th Plain Conference will be held in Stockholm 9-11 June 2011. We are looking forward to welcoming prominent Swedish and international plain language practitioners, and we are proud to be able to contribute to the international plain language work.

International cooperation for a solid framework

The conference theme Establishing the Framework for Plain Language continues the work with building an international standard and infrastructure for plain language that started in Amsterdam 2007, and that was confirmed by raising the standard in Sydney 2009. In Stockholm we will make the framework even clearer.
